1. The type of questions in this exam will be multiple choice.
2. There will be no interview.
3. There is a provision for negative marking.

Of a tree or plant leaf	subject	Remarks
1	Language (Qualification)	For all teachers of primary to higher secondary schools , this paper will be in two parts i.e. Part-1 and Part-II . • Part-II Hindi Language/Language. Urdu/ Bengali language has to be chosen from any one of the three languages. • The letter should be at least 30 % mandatory in both parts combined, but there will be no negative marking.
2	General Studies	For Primary School Teachers (Class 1 to 5) – Bihar BPSC Teacher Syllabus • It includes Elementary Mathematics, Mental Ability Test, General General Studies Awareness, General Science, Social Science, Indian National Movement, Geography and Environment; Daily current affairs are included. • The questions in the General Studies paper will be related to the syllabus of the primary school SCERT, but its level will be in the light of the minimum qualification prescribed for the candidate.
3	Subject & General Studies	For Secondary School Teachers (Class 9 to 10) – BPSC Secondary Teacher Syllabus • This paper will be in two parts i.e. – Part 1 and Part 2 – Part 1 – is a subject paper. Candidates have to choose any one of these papers from these papers : Hindi, Bengali, Urdu, Sanskrit, Arabic, Persian, English, Science, Mathematics and Social Science. • Subject Paper Syllabus of Subjects of Secondary Schools Bihar School Examination Board / Secondary School Examination Board The candidates will be affiliated to the National Eligibility Commission (NCERT), but its level will be in the light of the minimum qualification prescribed for the candidate. Part II is a General Studies paper in which the questions will be related to the syllabus of the Secondary School, but its level will be in the light of the minimum qualification prescribed for the candidate. It includes Elementary Mathematics, General Awareness, General Science, Indian National Movement and Geography.
4	Subject & General Studies	For Higher Secondary School Teachers (Classes 11 to 12) • This paper will be in two parts i.e. Part-1 and Part-2 •Part-1- is a subject paper. Candidates should choose any one of these papers: Hindi, Urdu, English, Sanskrit, Bengali, Maithili, Magahi, Arabic, Persian, Bhojpuri, Pali, Prakrit, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Botany, Zoology, History, Political Science, Geography, Economics, Sociology, Psychology, Philosophy, Home Science, Computer Science , Commerce, Accounting, Music and Entrepreneurship .• Subject Paper Syllabus of Subjects of Higher Secondary Schools Bihar School Examination Board / Bihar School Examination Board The candidates will be affiliated to the National Eligibility Commission (NCERT), but its level will be in the light of the minimum qualification prescribed for the candidate.
