Basic knowledge of computers is very important for the candidates preparing for various exams, because nowadays almost all competitive exams are conducted through computers, for which you need to have computer knowledge, for which you should pass the CCC Exam.
Similarly, the CCC exam is conducted every month, to pass which you need to have knowledge of the CCC Syllabus, if you do your preparation according to the CCC syllabus then you can easily pass this exam.
CCC Syllabus
NIELIT conducts various courses under the Digital Literacy Programme of the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology, Government of India to make the candidates computer literate. Some of them are ACC, BCC, CCC, CCC+, and ECC.
All these courses are mandatory for the qualifications required for different jobs. These courses are running in many institutions. All these institutes can only teach their candidates about the CCC course, but for their success in the respective course, candidates will have to pass the online exam.
Through this article, today we are going to tell you about the CCC Exam Pattern and its syllabus of NIELIT’s Prelims Course CCC (Course of Computer Concepts).
CCC Exam Pattern 2025
Following is the exam pattern for CCC exam –
- The CCC exam is of multiple-choice objective type.
- In this, 4 options are given for the answer of 1 question, out of which the candidates have to choose 1 correct answer.
- Candidates will be given 01 hour in this examination, apart from this, the total number of questions will be 100.
- There is no provision for negative marking in the CCC exam.
CCC Exam Syllabus 2025
The certificate of this exam is provided only to those candidates who get a minimum of 50 percent marks in the written examination, the syllabus of which is as follows-
CCC Computer Course Syllabus
Introduction to Computers and Basic Concepts: What is a Computer Under it? Questions are asked about the history of computers, features of computer systems, basic application of computers.
Concept of Hardware & Software: Under this section, Hardware, Software, Application Software, System Software, Programming Languages, Data/Hardware are covered. Questions can be asked from the concept of representation of information, data processing.
Module-2
- BASICS OF OPERATING SYSTEM: UNDER THIS, QUESTIONS RELATED TO OPERATING SYSTEMS, POPULAR OPERATING SYSTEMS (LINUX, WINDOWS) ETC. CAN BE ASKED.
- User Interface: Under this, questions related to things like task bar, icons, Start menu and how to start an application can be asked.
- Simple Operating System Settings: Changing the date and time of the computer, changing display properties, adding or removing a Windows component, changing mouse properties, printers, file and directory management, types of files, etc.
Module-3
- Word Processing Basics: Word processing packages, using the icon below the menu bar, using the help bar, open, save, and save documents, page setup, print preview.
- Methods of printing documents, document creation, editing text, text selection, cut, copy and paste, font and size selection, alignment of text, paragraph indenting, bullets and numbering, etc. can be asked.
- Table manipulation: table draw, changing cell width and height, alignment of text in a cell, removal/removal, etc. Insertion, Border & Shading, Summary, Model Questions & Answers.
Module-4
- Spread Sheet Basics: Introduction, Purpose, Opening of Spread Sheet, Cell Address, Printing of Spread Sheet, Saving Workbook, Entering Text, Numbers and Dates
- You should have the knowledge of creating text, numbers and date series, editing worksheet data, changing rows, deleting, changing cell height and width.
- Function and Chart: You should also know how to use formulas, functions, charts, summaries, model questions and answers as the questions related to it are mostly asked in the exam.
Module-5
- Introduction to Internet, WWW and Web Browsers: You should have knowledge of the basis of computer networks such as Local Area Network (LAN), Wide Area Network (WAN) etc.
- As well as the concept of the Internet, the basics of Internet architecture you should know.
- Apart from this, you should know about the various services present on the Internet such as World Wide Web and Website, Communication on the Internet, Internet Services, etc.
- Also preparing computers for Internet access such as ISP (broadband/broadband network). Dialup/ You should have knowledge of WiFi), internet access technology.
- As well as web browsing software such as popular web browsing software, configuring a web browser should come to you.
- Also you need to use popular search engines/services. Searching for content, accessing web browsers, using favorite folders, downloading web pages, web pages, etc. should come to you.
Module-6
- Under this section, you should know the basics of communication and cooperation, its introduction, purpose.
- Under this, you should know the basics of e-mail such as what is an electronic mail, email addressing, configuring email client, etc.
- Using E-mail: Opening an e-mail client, Inbox and Outbox, creating and sending a new e-mail, replying to an e-mail message, forwarding an e-mail message, sorting, and searching emails should come to you.
- Advance Email Features: Sending documents by e-mail, activating spell check, using address book, sending softcopies as attachments, knowledge of handling spam should be yours.
Module-7
Under this section you should know the introduction to the presentation, the purpose, how to use PowerPoint, how to open a PowerPoint presentation, save a presentation, etc.
- Creation of a presentation: creating a presentation using a template, creating a blank presentation, entering and editing the presentation, deleting and adding slides to the presentation.
- Slide preparation: Inserting a word table or an Excel worksheet, adding clip art pictures, inserting other objects, resizing and scaling objects, etc.
- Aesthetics of the presentation: Under this section, you should know how to increase the time of the presentation, work with color and line style, add movie and sound, add headers and footers.
- Presentation of slides: Viewing a presentation, choosing a set up for the presentation, sliding and printing handouts, knowledge of running a slideshow is a must you have.
Module-8
- Basics of the application of digital financial services: introduction, purpose, why savings are needed, why a bank is needed, besides banking products such as types of accounts and deposits, types of loans and overdrafts
- Questions related to filling of cheques, demand drafts, documents for opening accounts, Know Your Customer (KYC), photo ID proof, address proof, Indian currency, etc. can be asked to you.
- Apart from this, ATM, Internet Banking, Mobile Banking, Mobile Wallet, National Electronic Fund Transfer (NEFT), Real Time Gross Settlement (RTGS), Insurance
- You should have knowledge of life insurance and non-life insurance requirement etc.
- Various Schemes: Pradhan Mantri Jan-Dhan Yojana (PMJDY), social security schemes like Pradhan Mantri Suraksha Bima Yojana (PMSBY), Pradhan Mantri Jeevan Jyoti Bima Yojana (PMJJBY)
- You should also know about Atal Pension Yojana (APY), Pradhan Mantri Mudra Yojana (PMMY), National Pension Scheme, Public Provident Fund (PPF) Scheme, etc.
Module-9
- Introduction to FutureSkills, Internet of Things (IoT), Big Data Analytics, Cloud Computing, Artificial Intelligence, Blockchain Technology, 3D Printing
- Questions will be asked on topics such as robotics, process automation, cyber security, need for cyber security, securing smartphones and personal computers.
CCC Exam Passing System
The CCC certificate will not have any marks as it has a grading system. Candidates can check the grade system from the table given below.
